I created this community because I couldn’t find anything like it on lemmy and i was bored, most of the systems i have are also low end. I felt making this space would be helpful for those with worse machines than me.

I’m using a Raspberry Pi. I bet those specs are worse than yours! Kuddos for the community.
May i ask which model of pi and how much RAM it has?
Pi5 8Gb. If you’re going to use it as a daily driver I’d recommend this one. You may also compress ram with rpi-swap/zram, which will help you fit more things into that 8Gb at the expense of some CPU cycles.

That’s interesting; I didn’t know it could do that. Looking around the Pi forums, it looks like it’s reasonably playable at lower resolutions unless there’s a lot happening on the screen.
