      “anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law”

      Is not “anything you say may or may not be used to help prove your innocence”

      they tell you flat out they’re out to get you even if they know they’re wrong

        Proving innocence is analogous to proving a negative, far harder than proving guilt (a positive) which is why it is not the legal standard.

        This is literally Hollywood fiction. The Miranda warning has never had “and will”. It does not require any verbal claim that any statements made will be submitted as evidence.

      Because the user lied. Sure it’s theoretically possible for it to happen, but if a DA charges you with it and a jury convicts you, then you have to ask yourself what kind of mental illnesses are prevalent in your community?
