Qt Creator 12 CMake new features: debugger, profiler, revamped navigation / code completion, hover help, snippets.

    I’ve used CLion for a relatively big Qt project and found no need for Qt tooling like creator or designer. I wonder why people are still using them? Unless you’re stuck on it from day one of course.

      To start off, CLion is a paid service that costs individual users €100/year, while Qt Creator is completely free. That’s a huge motivator to not onboard onto Clion.
