30 million women voted for Trump. By choice. That’s part of the problem with the patriarchy: There is significant support from women. It needs to be addressed.

Personally I think the rule should be clearer and state “political partisanship”.
As a trans woman that’s kind of difficult because my mere existence has been made political against my will.
