    Check the location of the restaurant. Some of the burger and sandwich shops are really grocery stores and IHOPs.

      That’s always what I’ve done. If I see a new restaurant, I cross check the location and name to find out if it’s a ghost restaurant or not.

    DoorDash supposedly has a policy of labeling “Virtual Brands” (a label intended to obfuscate). But they don’t even enforce it.

    They do it on Google Maps too. Denny’s calls their restaurants “The Meltdown” if you’re searching for a sandwich shop. Pissed me off when I got there and realized what an asshole move they pulled.
