Oh wow, this just plopped in to my YT feed, and I’m loving it. Best animated Astérix thing I’ve ever seen (I’m not a huge fan of the movies, sadly). What’s great here is that the film only uses sound effects; no language, and focuses on two minor characters who usually… well, usually things don’t work out so well for them! Oh, and another very cool thing is how the film depicts The Village from more of a grassroots view instead of showing the usual characters and places. It’s fast-paced, but never too busy, full of loving or slapstick little touches:
