I remember that there’s a famous deleted page that I believe comes right after this one. In the supplemental Tintin book “Museum,” Hergé talks us through the making of that page, all the way from rough sketches to finished product. It’s easily the most extensive example I’ve ever seen of that kind of thing. Really cool.
I once did post those images to EGN, but sadly, the post seems not to have survived the move from Lemm.ee. Even Imgur deleted them, too, and I’m not sure where I stashed those images, anymore. Next time I read “Museum,” I’ll be sure to extract them again, and we can try again. With the translated text, hopefully.
