What? He was convinced by an auto complete function? The same thing that has existed for many years in any dedicated IDE? Nadella has clearly been off the tools a very long time.
It’s pretty horrifying that someone could be regarded as an authority on the future of tech when they aren’t even aware of the present and recent past, but I guess Davos has never existed for realistic evaluations and accurate public information.
Brb, I’m going to show him my amazing new invention, the wheel.
The last couple years have convinced me that we are deep into a kakistocracy, everywhere, government, business, finance… Everyone in power is just monumentally stupid. Perhaps they are just insulated since they have all the fucking money and do not have to inhabit the same reality the rest of us do.
These easily impressed, shallow thinkers control everything.

Here’s Nadella almost saying that headline:
For this not to be a bubble, by definition it requires that the benefits of this are much more evenly spread. I think a telltale sign of if it’s a bubble would be if all we’re talking about are the tech firms. If all we talk about is what’s happening to the technology side that then that’s just purely supply side.
We’d just like to welcome on board our newest Pivot to AI contributor, Satya Nadella.
