    When it’s effecting Olympic & IPSC sport shooting I would argue and say yes, there are reasons to own these firearms.

    There is also varmint control, most people opt for semi-auto .22lr rifles which the majority have been banned.

    If our government’s Wildlife Conservation Officers believe the use semi-automatic rifles is the best choice for wildlife/grizzly defence, why can’t we have access to the same tools?


    And ultimately these are not weapons of warfare otherwise why would they be legal to purchase for the last 30 years, NATO rejected sending these firearms to Ukraine and our public safety minister blatantly admitted that this program was for political points in Quebec in that leaked audio.
