D.O.A. Liberalism is a dead-end. The first line proves it.

Proportional Representation – We advocate for proportional representation in the Federal house and all state legislatures’ lower houses.

The Senate is a minoritarian body. 60% of the population is only represented by 24% of the Senate. This is by design. As James Madison, 5th POTUS and founding father said:

The man who is possessed of wealth, who lolls on his sofa or rolls in his carriage, cannot judge of the wants or feelings of the day laborer. The government we mean to erect is intended to last for ages. The landed interest, at present, is prevalent; but in process of time, when we approximate to the states and kingdoms of Europe; when the number of landholders shall be comparatively small, through the various means of trade and manufactures, will not the landed interest be overbalanced in future elections, and unless wisely provided against, what will become of your government? In England, at this day, if elections were open to all classes of people, the property of the landed proprietors would be insecure. An agrarian law would soon take place. If these observations be just, our government ought to secure the permanent interests of the country against innovation. Landholders ought to have a share in the government, to support these invaluable interests and to balance and check the other. They ought to be so constituted as to protect the minority of the opulent against the majority. The senate, therefore, ought to be this body; and to answer these purposes, they ought to have permanency and stability. Various have been the propositions; but my opinion is, the longer they continue in office, the better will these views be answered

Literally the founding fathers, who were all liberals (look up the word instead of just vibing), built right into the country minoritarian rule, unequal representation, fundamentally to protect the opulent minority from the will of the masses.

Focusing on the House is a recipe for maintaining the status quo

    Criminal Justice Reform

At no point does it say reduction of prison population or parolee population, nor does it mention prison slave labor. Without these, the “Liberal Party” is rearranging the deck chair on the Titanic. Or maybe the better metaphor is giving the Warsaw Ghetto a new wrought iron gate and a nice placard.

This is exactly the sort of milquetoast do nothing sort of “reform” we have come to expect from liberals. It’s completely uninspiring and will do absolutely nothing to gain votes away from the Ds.

War – We believe that only Congress has the power to declare war, and that war should never be declared unless it is in direct defense of the US or its allies.

The US hasn’t declared war since WWII, literally. The fact that this isn’t mentioned shows these people to be deeply unserious.

Treaties and Pacts – We recognize the interconnectedness of the global community and advocate for diplomacy, cooperation, and collaboration with other nations. We encourage participation in economic, defensive, and other treaties with other nations so long as these agreements are, and remain, of mutual benefit.

Oh really? How about the over 300 treaties with indigenous peoples on this continent that the US has broken. Yup, all of them? You gonna mention those? You gonna actually honor those? No? Just the ones with Europe?

No thanks! Don’t need another party of useless liberals who don’t understand power, refuse to acknowledge reality (both historical and contemporary) and think that all they have to do is “the right thing” and it’ll all get better. You’ve had 400 years. Your philosophy has failed to liberate humanity. In fact, it has perpetuated its subservience to the ultraminority. Your time has passed.
