More games in a franchise does not mean the future looks good for that franchise. They wanted a fantasy Destiny, man, the future for PoE looks terrible. The original was hard proof that CRPGs weren’t obsolete because a bunch of halfwit suits didn’t like them, pivoting away instead of sticking with the entire point is just a sign of bad things to come.
