      Yeah. They have improved by a lot in recent years, but the texture unfortunately still isn’t comparable to the non-vegan ones.

          I learned from a friend that a lot of white sugar is bleached with the help of animal bones, so sugar isn’t vegan across the board.

            I worked at a sugar factory. Beet sugar does not require that step. It’s quite an interesting process. We did use formaldehyde at one stage, though.
