I’ve been working on this to varying but increasing degrees for a while. I’m still using a Google phone but running Graphene on it with a sandboxed play services and Rethink/Firewall to block all ad/tracking/analytic/telemetry traffic. No other Google apps and using privacy-focused alternatives for common apps.

I wouldn’t call it privacy-focused as the hardcore guys would balk but I think I’m a good ways toward botching the majority of data collection.

I have to have Google Chrome installed for work! 😭
