I was listening to the soundtrack of Silksong, while searching for music to use in my DnD campaign, and I became quite unsure of what emotions and feelings Shellwood is supposed to convey?
What emotions or story is Shellwood trying to tell? (not just in music)
To me, the music is quite mournful, and the area is seems somewhat dead, but what is the point?

The music is peacefull, quite and (how do I put that?) organic and so is the area. It is the opposite of bellhart (which is haunted the first time you visited it) and blasted steps (a rocky & windy desert).
The point is to calm the player down. They had just fought moorwing and entered haunted bellhart. So they get a little bit of a more calm moment before going back to bellhart and fight widow.
