Opposition parties led by the Congress on February 10 moved a no-confidence motion against Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, accusing him of partisan conduct amid repeated disruptions in the House. The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 2 p.m. as uproar continued. The notice, signed by 119 MPs, was submitted under Article 94© of the Constitution and will be examined as per parliamentary rules.
