Update: after some 70 questions it could not guess “Alex Pretti’s handgun”, best it could do was generic types of guns. It also ends up repeating questions eventually, which is interesting.

In case there are multiple distinct people that share a name, it asks you to enter a little context so other people who guess can verify whether it’s the exact same one. You can see this by continuing with someone it doesn’t know until it gives up and asks you to enter your answer.
So it’s just another player having a laugh, not any kind of statement from the authors.

Ahhh, that makes sense. I figured it was pulling from a fandom or wiki database of some sort. So the inclusion of the line seemed odd.
