I found it hiking near Lethbridge, Alberta years ago, just found it again while going through old boxes. The wavy lines look kind of organic, but I don’t know about the rest.
If that crack goes all the way around. Give it a good wack with a hammer on the seam and it should pop open for you to show you whatever is hidden in the middle. (If there is a fossil in there). Often times it’s just empty but you never know. If it looks like it contains something take it to a specialist instead of trying to clean it up yourself.

It doesn’t look like any fossil I’ve seen before. But it’s certainly strange! I would take it to a university and see what they know.
