As someone who shops at Costco, the difference in cost vs a grocery store can be staggering. Lots of food is 40% or greater less. My membership is paid for by the savings in one trip.

I’m sure the bulk packaging of things might be cheaper if you go through all the stuff, but if I look at milk/eggs/flour/sugar/water, it’s cheaper at Walmart/Aldi than the Cosco that’s a few towns over (closest to me).
