I didn’t expect a protest to pop up so close to me and so regularly and you can feel the emotions. its nice, I’m actually connecting to people and marketing for the DSA and whoever else I can find. are other people protest going strong or if it has petered out. I’m legit thinking my weekly protest can make it to no kings day 3

    Sure ! protests are fantastic. You meet people, you sing, you show off your beautiful signs. Most importantly, you realize that there’s many of us, and you feel the strength in numbers. I haven’t been to one in years though, ever since I moved overseas. But they’ve always been an important sunday activity in our community and I am eager to resume protesting merrily if I ever get back to the mainland.

    Yes and it reminds us that most of the pro maga discourse online is bots and paid actors.

    Protests certainly gives that community feeling. Like we are all here together demanding change.

    Things going on are insane. It’s not just me. Other people see it too. And that’s comforting.
