    There used to be sites where people did just that. They’ve shut down their comment sections because of bots. Also, you can find them by searching for that particular topic because spammy sites with better SEO drown it out.

    I hate what the internet has become.

      Everything corpos and money touches will enshittify the same way. Books went from serious stuff to ads and glossy magazines. Radio from serious broadcasts to ad ridden pop. TV went to reality programs and infomercials. The phone from communication to getting calls from marketeers.

      There are still many great blogs but yeah it is hard to find them. And without real traffic, incentives are low to continue writing…

        For those that use WordPress, maybe people can (politely) poke the site owner to enable ActivityPub integration? Might help with traffic at least.
