Freelancer is the precursor to Star Citizen, a fantastic entry in Chris Roberts’ collection. It runs great on Deck, and is an awesome classic space simulator, if you’re looking for one!

This is my first time playing Freelancer, but I’ve dabbled heavily in Star Citizen over the last many years, and I love how you can see the roots of Star Citizen in Freelancer. It’s got that great atmosphere and aesthetic that you can see he’s trying to expand in his newer work. Too bad it’ll never release 😅
