Other European languages having phonetic spellings fail miserably e.g. Italian undici + due = dodici + uno Spanish: once + dos = doce + uno Fr*nch: onze + deux = douze + un Romanian: unsprezece + doi = doisprezece + unu (almost there! only a “u” remains)

After this I won’t ever complain about English spelling system any more.
