Oh, no, I’ll stop. I don’t have the kind of time to waste that you’d need to want to de-attribute and post 10+ comics a day and then act like an 11-year-old mocking the people who call you out in the comments.

I’m just making sure we’re crystal clear that you already unjustly got dozens of extra chances – including ban-evading on this account right now.

Why is it so fucking hard to just report, block, and move on?

Oh, I won’t block them because I moderate a community they spent weeks ruining and barely didn’t get banned from as an olive branch.

Then don’t bring that shit to other communities. I don’t care what happened in other places; from my perspective, from what I’ve seen, you’re the one creating conflict.

At any rate, this is a meme community: sharing and remixing other people’s things for fake internet points is the cornerstone of internet meme culture. If you think this is immoral, you should contact the artist rather than intervene on their behalf.

I don’t think it’s actually meant to be a sequence of commands as much as each set of commands do the same things. I think the “->” is a delimiter that unfortunately makes one think this is some sort of flowchart, which it is not. The flow of both don’t really make sense, but each command, in order, maps to the others. Unzip = Extract. Touch = Create. Mount = Assign.

The joke really is as simple as the Linux commands all sound vaguely sexual and thus aren’t very appropriate for a workplace, whereas the Windows commands are named professionally.

The odd use of the “->” just distracts from that, they could have used a “/” or any other delimiter and it might have been a little clearer.

If only the English language had a symbol for separating words when listing them we wouldn’t have this problem!

My wife texted me to get dogfood bananas and milk at the store. I can’t find these damn dogfood bananas!
