FIRST EVER SUB 8 BOTH QUESTS! After not being able to finish out the sub 8 after my previous two Any% WRs when I had the perfect chance to, I knew I had to return to this category and break the minute barrier. In just 46 attempts of going for this, I was able to get a whopping 8 4:55s in the process: 2 4:55.547s, a 4:55.563, a 4:55.580, 3 4:55.597s, and a 4:55.713, making me 17% at getting 4:55 this session! I hope to lower this even further in the future, and maybe one day to a 7:58, as this second quest route would align with it perfectly after a 4:54.5xx/4xx. :D
World 1-2: just walk right on through this pipe to the warp zone, nothing weird about that!
World 4-2: take a stroll through blockville. Just like pipeville!
World 8-2: getting hit by bullet bill next to the flagpole counts as finishing the level?
World 8-4: It looks like the piranha plant is still visible in the pipe when you go down it (4:20 game clock) :O
As for ways to shave off more time, there was one level (8-1) where you hit the top of the flagpole. Could it be faster to fall to the bottom before touching it?

as far as I know this usually does not affect time, you can see on his LiveSplit that he didn’t gain or lose any time in that level
first quest finished in 4:55.61 is within a second of WR for just that segment (WR is 4:54.631 also by Niftski https://youtu.be/Khu9BB2g4Ks )
