The slime beast of aisle 2
Max, a high schooler working part-time at a local grocery store, is tasked with the mundane job of inventorying the oldest section of the stockroom. Behind a row of ancient, dusty shelves, he discovers an old, peculiar can with no label, wedged into a forgotten corner. Intrigued and a little bored, he pries it open, unwittingly releasing a viscous, green slime.
At first, the slime is just a puddle on the floor, but as it absorbs spills and discarded foods, it begins to grow—morphing into a monstrous, ravenous blob with a gaping maw full of razor-sharp teeth. The creature slithers along the aisles, consuming everything in its path, growing larger with every bite.
That would make a great Goosebumps cover
Now that you mention it it does look kind of like a kids horror novel cover from 1994 lol
Opened it to say the same thing
Just expand it out to the right proportions and add the text on top.
The slime beast of aisle 2
Definitely more Strange Matter. Albeit not gratuitously CGI enough… ironically.
