You might consider that you don’t know everything that happens online, and just because you’re unaware of something doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.
What’s there to spoil? It’s a ponderous prequel story about enforcing the status quo against antisemitically coded creatures that have an apparently legitimate grievance and therefore want to improve society somewhat but are going too far and that is presented by the story as corrupt/evil in a way that invalidates their grievance.
That’s nothing new from the fiction that the game is based upon.
