Is Unraid still the best option for multi disk size setups? As the title suggests, I’m trying to figure out if it is still a strong solution.
Context: I am doing a rebuild and would like to reuse my 10 TB drives while also upgrading to 20 TB drives and phase them in over time. ( Currently I will have 4x 10 TB drives ,2x 20 TB )
Depends on how technical you are and how much time you have.
If I had tons of time to figure it out, I would do a NixOS/bcachefs setup. But I have a high risk tolerance. For most people it probably wouldn’t be worth it.
