For the sake of some content in this community I just wanted to ask what your favourite characters are in Genshin Impact and why.

Either playable characters or NPCs.

I will start:

My favourite character is Nilou because of her flowy attacks with her elemental skill and her overall design. I also really like Mona because of her hat (I’m a big fan of giant witch hats)

    Certainly Yoimiya
    she is super cute in her quests and actually is fun to play and free2play friendly
    I legit prefer her over Hu Tao in vape teams just because she is just fun period

    Gameplay: Heizou. His playstyle feels very unique. (and who needs a weapon when you’ve got these hands?)
    Design: Kazuha. Absolutely love his color scheme.
    Personality: Venti. I love his playful attitude.

    Overall: Also Venti lol (bonus points for his en va’s amazing voice)

    Kokomi is by far my favourite character, for her design, story, personality and voice. Gameplay wise she’s also super powerful. I also love Raiden Shogun, Nahida and Yelan for similar reasons. Those 4 are my main party, with Yelan being my most recent build to lvl 90 with talents at 9-10. I’m finding Yelan’s gameplay style to be the most fun lately.

    My next party I’m building to lvl 90 is Yoimiya, Ayaka, Barbara and Yae Miko.

    Keqing. Love her character, especially now that it is fleshed out through events. Also top gameplay, really mobile and fun. I was really happy when dendro for released and I could use her for more stuff

        One team is my friendship team, with her as the main dps, while everyone else is lvl70 for dailies etc. Just so i can use her more :D

        As a real team i use her with sayu as healer/vv, Nahida as dendro and fischl for the great combination with Keqing’s multihits. Sometimes i also switch to YaoYao as healer, relying more on the bonus EM and reactions instead of VV

    Kazuha. He was my second 5 star ever (first was Qiqi). I pulled him on release not knowing that there was a lot of negative impressions on him. I thought the grouping, animations, and stuff were so cool.

        I don’t think it was just a reddit thing. I remember he was constantly called a Sucrose sidegrade outside of reddit, too, and that he isn’t worth it because Inazuma was around the corner. If you want to believe the China iOS sales posts, he also didn’t enter the meta until later when people realized how great he was. It’s considerably better nowadays.
