No. Orange is healing because oranges have the best vitamins. Yellow is for exercise because (it’s the original) it’s the color of stamina potions. Blue and red are correct tho

No. Orange is for hangovers. The other ones are for nothing because I can’t stomach them with a hangover and there is no other purpose for Gatorade.

Edit: all this is wrong- It was just a rumor . Sorry Gatorade. Gatorade is illegal in some countries because its “electrolytes” are just salt, a lot of salt. Seven days worth of salt in one drink. If you just finished working out really hard that’s okay. But if you didn’t it’s a dangerous amount of salt.

270mg is not 7 days worth of salt. 7 days of my max salt content per day as someone who needs to limit their salt is roughly 14 grams.

It is a rediculous amount for a drink certainly, especially one meant to be particularly “hydrating” but it’s isn’t dangerous unless you drink a lot of them and only them

Yeah you’re right. I heard this on Bill Burr’s podcast and googled what he said and found results and stopped looking into it.

Red is for diarrhea or fever.
    Yellow is for vomiting.
Blue/purple is for a sore throat.

Or is that just how my family always did it

Well the little mountains on a Coors Light can turn blue when it’s cold so if the liquid inside the bottle is blue that must mean it’s colder.

It’s not the color, but there actually is something in the glacial freeze one that gives it that cool feeling in the back of your throat, like mint/menthol does.

If I ask you to name your favorite gatorade flavor and you don’t say a color, you’re a cop.
