          Pro tip: I’d first look into the extensions your distro supplies via the package manager.
          For example, on Debian there’s gnome-shell-extensions-extra, which includes V-Shell, an extension that lets you customize almost everything.

          By installing extensions through your package manager, they don’t break with a Gnome update.
