Netflix proved how much faster it can go when they remade One Piece. Since they skipped all the fluff and went right to the important and fun bits.
Maybe I’m just getting too old and would spend my time with fun things rather than wait an hour and a half for a character to do one special move. I can watch an entire movie in that time.
I said that because DBZ is well known enough that even people who don’t like it, like you, know what super saiyan is. If DBZ didn’t exist I’d have said something like “if you’ve never unnecessarily explained what Pot of Greed does, you’re not a real anime fan.”
