So we find out an outsider did indeed attack, but only with the help of an inside person. The way the butler spoke of his service, I doubt he’s at fault unless directed to by the master. The maid is fairly new, so I doubt any reason to commit murder would have occurred yet, unless that was the plan from the beginning. And the child I don’t trust because she is a child in a detective story, and I never trust those. I feel like it has to be one of those three.
