      Yeah my first thought was Pascal.

      I’ve not seen/touched it since the 90’s as well. Turbo Pascal was the language we had to use for our assignments.

        I second Pascal, I have never used Pascal itself but I have used Delphi for so many years until I eventually switched to Linux

    Looks like Pascal. Having to define program, begin and end. is hardly anything else.

      Could be Modula or something like that which Pascal was derived

    And the answer is Pascal! Basically all of the comments got it right with one getting it technically right with saying its english
