Brazil’s presidential front-runner Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said Ukraine’s Volodymyr Zelensky shares part of the blame for Russia’s invasion of his country as he believes the leader failed to negotiate more with Moscow.
Because the Russians have been at this shit for as long as they’ve existed. No one but them is responsible for the war and in particular Putin. It was never about national security with him, rather a mix of regime security and unhinged ideas about national destiny. Russia has nukes and they were totally secure.
Now, of course your can say the Ukrainians pushed the Russians to attack, by not folding to the russian demands, but how is this a valid argument?

I did not question the ethnic makeup of Crimea, it could indeed be that it was mostly Russian leaning, but in annexing Crimea the Russians were criminals. Plus, no serious person would ever think that a referdum done under occupation by Russians is in any way fair. Russians know how to hold a fair election because they don’t believe in the concept.
I’ll leave it at this, I’m already breaking my rule not to feed the trolls.
