They’re just older folks who hate on the newer generations and are mad that they’re not up to date with what the kids like and what’s hot nowadays

“But rappers used to spit about real shit and genuine problems in our world while current rappers just talk about money, bitches, killing, and drugs!”

Guess what, all those same rappers they revere are now starring in children’s movies or coming out of retirement 2 decades later because they blew all their money on cars and jewelry that depreciated 10 times the moment it touched their neck

Sorry, but you really should’ve just bought some Johnny Dang grills so you didn’t have to drop another “Conscious Hip-Hop” album or tour at age 67 to pay for your dental bill, gramps

he won’t shut the fuck up in between his lines. Does this guy have tourettes or something?

Close minded boomer brain unable to adapt to the newest influences in current day music. Also potentially ableist

Imagine if people acted like this for every progression of music in the past. “Wow this is trash, they’re not even hymning”. “I can’t believe they’re not throat singing”. “This is a sorry excuse compared to Opera singing”. “How come this Bach fellow’s pieces don’t have a voice for vocalists?”

Cartinese is the future of music

        A) people did act like that. People always act like that.

        B) just because some people are into a new thing doesn’t mean it’s good. Elvis liked stealing black music and that gave us Paul Simon’s Graceland

Go talk to T Pain about the future of music
