The more I think about it the more I think it’s them. Iirc the foreshadowing at the end of dressrosa and the start of egghead about “an incident that will shake the world” (paraphrasing) is really similar
I thought it could have been blackbeards crew inadvertently saving the ship by sinking the marine ship.
