Employees in Las Vegas say they are not against technology but fear being replaced, and want presidential candidates to articulate what they would do to protect workers.
Casinos are already 90% slot machines. I’m sure a majority of their profit comes from people’s nans sitting at the machine mindlessly pressing a button blowing five hundred dollars in under an hour. Meanwhile, the “classic” casino games (blackjack, roulette, craps, poker, baccarat, sports betting) I’m sure make comparatively little profit despite being orders of magnitude more fun, IMO. If I’m going to blow a few hundred dollars at the casino I’d much rather blow it on blackjack and hookers roulette rather than playing an expensive video game.
