My first real Halo experience was playing Halo Reach with my little brother. My mom asked if I thought he’d like it as a present, and I said it seemed like it was a popular franchise. Course, I never had played it before but it had Co Op so we played together, I ended up getting fixated and then finished campaign too. XD I played it so much I had to buy it 3 times. It also has awesome enemy sangheili, and they became my favorite alien race. Ai and design, pretty solid. Modding Reach is fun too!

2 for campaign, Infinite for multiplayer.

2’s campaign expanded the scope of the Halo universe so significantly and was not afraid to try new things

Infinite’s MP is just so solid, customization and BP stuff aside, it is very well balanced, maps are great, and incredible forge maps are finally making their way to matchmaking.

I like the first 3 for different reasons and I’m not sure I could pick a favorite between them.

    Halo CE.

I was only introducted to Halo through a friend when Reach came out. I absolutely loved it. I then played through the games and totally fell for the story. But when it came to it, I just kept going back to CE. Everything about it, the story, the aura, the multiplayer, and modding on custom edition.

Halo 2 is pure nostalgia for me. Summer days playing online and yelling at people.

Weird choice, but I like ODST. I specifically like the night time missions aesthetic in the beginning.

Definitely! The dark environment was pretty cool. That’s why Nightfall is also one of my fave maps in Reach.

3 because of the solid gameplay, forge, and the constant “live service” bungie had going on. Bungie favorites and updated Playlist meant there was always something new to try.

Additionally the friends I made along the way make it a favorite

I’d pick one from the Bungie games, probably 3. I have fond memories playing playing split screen co-op with my brother in online, campaign, and even some of the vid master achievements late at night.
