It was my 37th birthday on Sunday. Went out for steak dinner, opened presents, got promoted to leader of the dumb mobile game clan I am part of. Finally got to see the political drama seething under the surface there as I am now part of the leadership chats and get to see the chat history. Looks like high school in there.

Had to take one of the cats to the vet, cost almost 200 dollars to be told they dont know whats wrong with her. But they had us try a new (prescription) food for her that might help.

Oh man, I was in a WoW guild back in the day that had more drama than a soap opera. I play games to escape that stuff, lol.

Hope it evens out without a blowup.

The drama got spicer and now I could be watching the equivalent of WW1 about to happen.

As for kitty, we had some tests done after and we got the test results back. We know what is wrong (it isn’t that bad) and we are giving her something else that should help her. We will know if it works in a couple weeks.

Like hell, still living with my ex, and the guy is doing everything in his power to rob me of my peace. Coke binges in his room with his mates, drinking, loud hookups, eating all the food with his mates, and since I don’t have WFH, hell knows what else.

I can’t wait to get a divorce and honestly, I wish he didn’t know me so well and how to get to me. I don’t do drugs, not even alcohol since I had a troubled youth and allegedly he respected and liked that about me.

I didn’t sleep at all, and I don’t know how I will stay awake at work.

Yes, he broke up with me, so for now we are trying to divide our things. And we were planning on living together for a while, while I save up enough to move out, then divorce. But he is being an absolutely cruel creature right now. I don’t think I will be able to take it for long.

Back from a week long island trip. Trainer says my progress didn’t diminish over the trip, happy to hear. Was able to keep on my health plan on the island thanks to lots of grilled fish. Swimming practice paid off, lots of water based fun. And a huge sun burn to show for it

Not good, to be frank. One of my cats (Kika) is missing since Sunday. We’ve already looked for her around, asked the neighbours, contacted the local vet… nothing.

What worries me the most is that it’ll rain today.

Thank you, mate. And good news - in the meantime, we found her! I had to trespass into someone else’s property (it’s an extended holiday here, so a lot of people are travelling), but got her back. Besides the thirst and hunger she seems OK, not injured. (Unlike my arms - she kicks a lot when held on arms, and she was scared so… ah, nothing that rubbing alcohol + a few days won’t solve.)

I don’t know if it will work for you, hope it does. If your cat uses a litter box, take a hand full, ideally not new, and dump it in front of either your door, a place that Kika can come in and out from, or a place where you would see her.

The smell of their own… box helps them find the way home, according to my vet.

        We found her already :3

The idea is rock solid though. Specially because one of my fears was that it rained today, so it erased all smells that she could rely on. (And the fact that she’s 15yo, her senses aren’t exactly the same of a young kitten any more.) So any smelling/visual/auditive clue helps.

            Thanks :3

She was hiding in the yard of someone else’s home. It isn’t too far from my own home, but she’s indoors, old, and scared of her own shadow, in a street with lots of barking dogs. So she was having a really hard time coming back.

Retrieving her was a bit of a mess, since the houseowner wasn’t home* I had to jump into his yard from his neighbour’s yard. (They even lent me their ladders!) Now back home she ate a lot, drunk a lot of water, and now she’s calling me every five minutes because she’s really needy.

*acc. to the neighbours he went to the beaches. This week has an extended holiday, so he’ll probably only come back tomorrow, or even after tomorrow. So I didn’t want to risk her roaming elsewhere.

Started going to the gym again!! Very excited about this. (It was on hiatus because I injured my leg.)

Only did upper body so far and my entire torso is on fire… I took inspiration from the other post about treating yourself, had a nice long soak with epsom salt + eucalyptus oil. I’m still very sore but I think I’ll sleep well tonight!

Also I expected today to be just another day but I was gifted some chocolate, which was very nice.

Pretty good all things considered. I’m looking forward to the long weekend even though I need to go clean my mom’s house. It will be a fun road trip and for me it’s always more fun to clean other people’s houses.

If I don’t figure out a way to like food better I’m going to get divorced, but the medicine I’m on prevents that. It’s really hard.
