I wasn’t in court so I can’t know what evidence was put forward and I wasn’t in the jury so I can’t know what they decided. According to the article they can be re tried and the mand who attacked the woman with a hammer is still in jail awaiting trial so there is hope of justice yet.

I would hope the guard is also subject to a rigorous investigation and charged if an offence has been committed.

You seem very extreme in your views, perhaps you should take an internet break to find yourself a sense of perspective.

Great arguement you have there.
In my view private companies profiting from genocide are fair game for these tactics and clearly the jury agrees.
Battering someone with a sledgehammer isn’t.

Any update on the health of the woman they attacked with a sledgehammer?
It would be good to see justice for her at least.

I have that exact coat and can tell you that it really isn’t particularly warm. Even with three layers below it isn’t good below about -5c and is particularly bad in the wind.

I don’t think you comprehend English?
Breaking into a military facility in Qatar is tried as espionage and or sedition. Do you want to look up the penalty for that in Qatar?

It’s ok to say you don’t know the answer to my question, we can all take time to learn something new every day.
Perhaps you can look it up? It might be enlightening.

As opposed to qutari state owned propoganda slop?
Out of curiosity do you know what happens to someone who breaks into a military airfield and damages military aircraft in Qatar?

Slightly more balanced article from reporters that were actually there: https://www.lbc.co.uk/article/arrests-wormwood-scrubs-prison-breached-pro-palestine-hunger-srike-5HjdRHc_2/

I live within 3 miles of a branch of all of the major supermarkets in the UK except Waitrose.
The only time I can possibly go shopping is after 7pm and even if I go in with a list of stuff and stick to it the round trip is 2 hours because of the checkout queues, car park queues and crowded shops.
I don’t know if you have ever been to a supermarket after 7pm but good luck finding any fresh fruit and veg that hasn’t been squashed to a pulp.
The only reliable shop near me is a particularly well stocked Morrisons Express but it’s cheaper and easier to shop from Ocado.

This is the crux of the problem, developer profitability demands a shortage of housing and because developing in London (this article is Hackney) requires massive up front costs before they can sell their first units developers will happily wait until they are guaranteed a massive profit.
Make no mistake here: the developers definitely can make a profit in the current climate but that profit isn’t enough to be worth them doing it so they will wait.
We really need some initiative from the government to allow councils to take over sites that are not being progressed and allow them to borrow the money to do it.
Councils can’t make a ‘profit’ as such but every council development I’ve ever been involved in has made more money than it cost and all of these developments would be considered unviable by a developer.

Good work op!
I can confirm the ocado beans are very good but I suspect they are actually the same as m&s. I can’t tell the difference.

This is true, I would say it is currently the most ethical smartphone you can buy today, though. If you get it with e.os installed it is also more privacy focussed as well but as a heads up e.os doesn’t work with some banking apps.
Bonus points for saying “I really shouldn’t” before taking two chocolate hob nobs
Or not guilty. The jury failed to reach a verdict which means the should be re-tried.
