Wir sind immer noch von Intel, AMD und NVIDIA abhängig. Außer Intel und AMD gibt es keine Firmen, die x86 Prozessoren herstellen bzw. designen (können).

Außer NVIDIA und AMD gibt es keine Firmen, die Grafikkarten (designen). Ja, die Chinesen haben nun auch ihre eigenen Grafikkarten, aber nicht einmal die Chinesen selbst benutzen die. Die greifen lieber primär zu NVIDIA, sekundär AMD.

Auch ARM chip designer sind die Amis die besten. Qualcomm und Apple sind die mit der besten Leistung. Beide Amis. Mediatek ist auf der 3. Position, aber taiwanisch. Dann Samsung auf Platz 4 und die sind koreanisch. Wo sind die europäischen chip designer? Erst kürzlich hat ARM bekannt gegeben, dass sie selber chips designen wollen.

Da juckts auch nicht, dass ARM britisch ist, wenn die europäischen Chip designs einfach scheiße und performance technisch weit hinten sind.
