  • I’m a recently separated transgender veteran, and I’m well connected with those directly affected by this. Most branches are taking a similar route with a option to either voluntarily separate or else involuntarily separate after a board meets to separate you. Involuntary separation will take a much longer time, however some people still might like to take it just to be done with the military.

There’s very likely going to be a temporary restraining order on the effects of these executive orders. The case to look at is called Talbot V Trump. We are expecting to see it issued in the next week.

  • The one thing that this article fails to mention is that transgender female individuals would have to revert to male grooming standards in physical fitness tests. If they choose to “voluntarily” separate they might be placed on administrative leave and not need to cut their hair.

(I can’t wait to see how transmasc members don’t shave anymore because there are no female beard standards)

Additionally people will be ordered to misgender trans service members.

The next hearing to make an injunction is on the 12th of March and so many service members are placed on administrative leave until then.

I’m a recently separated trans veteran, and I have a lot of friends being impacted by this, so feel free to ask me questions on this

  • It’s basically a purge of trans and gay people. Different rules for different people. You bet that if these people weren’t trans or gay that they would face no consequences for anything.

How many guys are going to talk about their Viagra and how it makes them feel better? You know that they aren’t getting punished for talking about their own health

Tulsi has such a stick up her ass. Nobody was hurting anyone. Nothing illegal was going on. Nobody was being harassed.

This doesn’t have anything to do with getting better workers and has everything to do with blatant discrimination

  • The military has already been trying to “do more with less” This doesn’t seem like a great idea when war with China is right around the corner. Especially with the mess that is navy procurement. It’s actually a contrary to Republican policy goals to cut a lot of these employees. It seems to me like this hasn’t been thought through at all. They could go for the furniture funds and end of year waste, but instead they’re going to cut out some of the best talent.

Looks like the DoD will have lots of money for furniture and won’t be able to target anything or fix anything. It’s going to cause fatigue to many of our men and women in uniform.
