Correct.
Correct.
Interesting. Many rediscovered in the last two centuries. Apparently, there is a bird called a go-away-bird lol.
True opposite of a gatekeeper. Tickle me Green lol.
Yes that is why I mentioned it is a radiation testing service. But the article cites some ‘credible-looking’ sources, it is just to show anyone can support a claim by searching enough through Google and finding something that seems credible to spread misinformation. I am thinking OP may have heard something on the media claiming this citing something similar, that is why I was determined to find something that tried to link the two. Most of the results said it was completely safe.
While I agree with the fact that no it has barely an effect and the FDA says the EMF from devices are well below levels to cause any concern, I found this article and skimmed through it found that:
“Why is colon cancer on the rise? Researchers are still trying to get the answers they need, but several theories have evolved. Some research suggests the increased CRC cases may be caused by exposure to environmental pollutants (9) like nickel, arsenic, benzene, and cadmium. They believe the exposure may be due to EMF (Electromagnetic frequencies) emitted by phones, laptops, and other electronic devices. Previous studies revealed EMF can lead to failing health.”
However, I had to go through many pages of Google for this answer while others said otherwise. Also, it may be biased as this is a service for radiation related testing etc. there are some citations in the article that seem credible but they are just stating possible theories and testing. No peer reviewed paper found with anything linking the two.
Tl;Dr: it’s okay to use a laptop on your stomach, many of us do. EMF levels too low to do anything. Studies are still early in their development and there is no concern ATM.
I use Gboard because of it’s customizability. I like adding words to the dictionary to make it easier to type usernames. Gboard lets you pin things so you can save for more than one hour. Never copy OTPs, always type them manually.
I don’t want to open it. I am keeping it as a decoration. Lol. Has barely any sugar so it’s probably bland as most sparkling water is.
I ended up just creating multiple accounts: One for Lemmy, one for Mastodon, one for mbin/kbin. I have downloaded a bunch of the apps and still unsatisfied but my hopes will be that there eventually can be a universal app that can host all accounts and possibly have just one feed based on an umbrella account. I have Jerboa and Thunder for Lemmy, basic Mastodon app, Interstellar for mbin and Lemmy but I had to create a separate mbin account, and I tried Fedilab but I haven’t experienced enough to judge. I assume they will get better rather quickly. I am still new to the Fediverse so I am learning. There needs to be an app that can host all the different platforms though, either with an overall account to link them or a dynamic feed where you can switch a drop-down setting between platforms based on one central account.
You must really like rice.
You might be saving for almost a year for one share of Tesla.
You are renting the land/home for one dollar’s amount of time. Tax free for this scenario. The amount is determined by whatever the market value of the home is divided by one dollar as a percentage. Assuming the time it would take the average buyer to pay off a mortgage. (Not including tax, that is too complicated so I am leaving it out). Then you determine how much of the total amount of that time is one dollar. Probably minutes or maybe close to an hour, IDK. You don’t have to calculate it, the dollar does this by teleportating you to and from it. You can save your magic dollars and become a magic millionaire/billionaire etc.
You can have one dollar’s amount of gold to keep forever or you can have any amount of gold for one dollar’s worth of time. It would depend on who you are ‘renting’ the gold from. If they say for a dollar you can have a pile of gold bars for X amount of minutes and then you give it back etc. You ask the magic dollar and out comes a ‘Spyro-esque’ Moneybags character lol. He might only let you touch the gold if he is stingy. The TV metaphor assumes the average life span of a TV these days. Or that particular model. So for a 1K TV, it would be a fraction 1/1000 of that TV life span.
The dollar?
You can save it.
You can then plant it, and make more and eventually start a business. Then, a French fry company, lol.
If you choose, you can time travel to the ‘distance’ in time worth one dollar, however much that may be. There is also no rule against saving.
If you have a dollar, you can choose to either enjoy the beverage or the destination for a time equal to one dollar. You get a magic door and are teleported back as soon as one dollar’s worth is used. As I am sticking with only what I wrote as the rules, since there is no rule that says you cannot split it into 50 cents each, you can do that. You can also save up the money as that is not in the rules.
Oh, that is exactly what it is lol. I just went and looked it up.
I can’t afford those models unfortunately.
