I love being only able to worry about checklist things in the final minutes before sleeping
That one felt like a personal attack
Literally i have to shower the same way every time because I’m lucky if i remember the very last thing i did
Dang this really sucks :/ i understand why it’s important from a modding perspective. I guess I’ll need to open an account elsewhere and get a client with multi account support
I’m afraid of seeing season 2 of Altered Carbon cause the first one was so awesome
That’s a crow right? Or maybe a raven? I love them and I haven’t stuck to my new years resolution to befriend them with peanuts
That’s in insane amount of users and so glad they’ve picked an instance that will eventually refederate
What’s 3PA?
I was so worried that your story was going to go shittymorph
we did it reddit
I think it might be too noisy
It may not be forever, and this reddit pause will hopefully be the kickstart for the fediverse of reddit-likes :)
Afaik kbin.social’s DDOS protection through cloudflare is messing with federation. I don’t believe it will be permanent but I don’t have a source on that.
I’ve had the kindle Paperwhite 2 for a very long time, only read books through KOReader on it. I only bring it out of airplane mode to update that.
I’m hoping that most third party apps will adapt to lemmy, providing a friction in our favor.
I get really annoyed about the acrid pushback because of Lemmy’s creators, and I usually deflect to unaffiliated server hosts or if it’s really strong, mention kbin since we all connect freely.
It’s just so important to me that the migration goes to a federated platform and not another central one.
I want the more the merrier as long as we can moderate the more toxic tendencies, but at this moment I’m also pleased that much of the folks and vibes are much like reddit when i first joined
Here’s hoping that the Lemmy API proxy can expedite a transition to allow these apps to stay useful after June 30th. It would be a beautiful sight to have diversity of clients here, and especially supporting the fediverse answer to Reddit instead of the centralized competition.
I would even be happy to see kbin growth because we on Lemmy don’t lose out 😅
Honestly? It feels a bit mid for me. I keep reflexively opening the app, and there’s still a lot of smaller communities I peek at. I try to keep time-burning scrolling here, but it doesn’t feel the same.
