It’s wild to think that so many high ranking university officials legitimately thought this was some passing antisemitic fad and it was going to pass. A lot of them thought that the fad ended and that there’s no reason to believe the protests would start again after summer break. Many of the leadership being perplexed that the students would actually be defending Palestine… because “who cares about them?!”

What might lead them to be so blind?

Reminds me of Kim il Sung that said, “It’s better to close up like a clam until the war is over.”, very wise words to live by.

It’s crazy how much of the American tech industry are all these unprofitable endeavors being propped up by investors with no hope of profit in the near future. I feel like it is going to end with a DotCom bubble bursting but a million times worse.

For the love of God, don’t the Ukrainians get that they’re being used as pawns to bleed Russia in a war that they have no hope of winning? Ukraine as a nation is on an IV drip of poison.

Javier Milei is going to try to start some war against a “communist state” to attempt to be a protectorate of the US, I know it. Like invade Venezuela or some shit.

The US State Department is thrilled with how the “Ukrainian Model“ has worked, debt trap “friendly” nation A to the gills and also drain “enemy” nation B of blood and treasure… evil but effective.

This is why I’m afraid of any broad leftist front in the US, in 2024 in practice both liberal parties are basically indistinguishable.

Tbf they’ve been mulling over multipolarity for a long time, they understand the fact that if their precious baby Israel was threatened or non-petroleum based energy became mainstream, their goose is cooked.

I like to draw a contrast with Xi Jingping’s recent summit with the Arab League.

1. He praises them on their achievements, acknowledges the difficulties and asks them to strive to create creative new solutions to existing problems.
2. Asks the leaders a bunch of questions as to what is going on right now to get their insight.
3. Thanks them for educating him.
4. Asks what role can China play in a mutual “win-win” relationship.
5. Thanks them for their time and gifts them some Chinese food, beverage or trinket.

That’s largely the way he goes about interacting with nations, compare that with the Occupied Indigenous Nations that we commonly call “USA”, and how they claim to “run the world”.

Does he deserve it? Yes. But I still feel bad that his family is forcing his exhausted semi-corpse to hold on to the throne for their personal benefits.

I think that the US State Department blew out of proportion the fact that Vietnam sided with the USSR in the First Cold War and not the PRC (which were technically allies of the US at that moment) and the spat over the Spratly Islands. Sure they do have disagreements but to believe that Vietnam will seriously be used as a pawn against China is absolutely moronic.

Edit: There’s also talk that China is trying to strike a partnership agreement of sorts with the Taliban administration in Afghanistan and US American spooks are seriously trying to be like “Hey, buddy, remember the good times we had together? Yeah, you don’t want to do business with China, they’re evil!”…

Imagine Biden does win and like RGB he claws to his throne in such an embarrassing way that the Secret Service basically has to do a Weekend at Bernie’s situation with him for the next 4 1/2 years as he drools on himself and falls asleep on stage, but as a stubborn boomer refuses to relinquish control.

These dudes are always the weirdest closet cases… I feel like they like femboys because they have secondary traits that society has deemed “feminine” and need a way to explain how they aren’t LGBTQ+ by suggesting the opposite is somehow true. Just accept everyone is on the spectrum to some degree and carry on.
