thanks for this post. right now is an interesting time, which i think could be regarded as the first great migration from reddit to lemmy and the wider fediverse.

if i look at my own profile while logged in, all of my subscriptions show in a column on the right side of the page. but if i look at your profile i see none of your subscriptions, presuming that you have some; the right-side of your profile is blank to me. the only thing i’ve seen so far in another person’s profile on the right-side column is what communities they moderate. so it seems to me that our subscriptions are rather private.
yes! thanks so much.
i’m no coder but i wonder if this little guide would help you: https://join-lemmy.org/docs/en/administration/theming.html
regarding libertarianism, you said,
The original usage of the word was in relation to early libertarian communism, e.g. direct transition to stateless, classless, moneyless society.
mambabasa said,
Classical or left-libertarianism is the same as anarchism. When the French government outlawed anarchism in the late 19th century, anarchists in France developed a new word to describe themselves and their political philosophy. They began to call themselves libertarians instead of anarchists.
these seem to be contrary claims. or are you both saying the same thing?
thanks for your input. i honored your request to ignore the content of your earlier mis-post but was sure to read all of this one.
on lemm.ee today there was an account https://lemm.ee/u/XeNoX that registered and proceeded to create i think more than 100 communities, but evidently has not made a single post or comment anywhere. was the situation at lemmy.ml anything like that?
they look great.
@[email protected] , could/would you add all of these to our instance? i especially like winter nord, icy nord, and icy nord darker.
this seems like a strange place to post about that; too off-topic in my mind. but nevertheless i’m glad to have found said community and did subscribe. you could promote your new community in a place like this: [email protected]
good point
