I was about to say that it sounds like my generalized anxiety coupled with good ol’ ADHD (maybe). Taking mild benzos helps a bunch

Meh. Wake me up when AI can solve Navier-Stokes analytically for all cases.
(we don’t even know if it’s possible, and if you manage to do it you would get a Millennium Prize and a million dollars)
It also correlates with poor noise/heat insulation or bad windows that don’t keep the noise out or have been vibrated by the planes all out of wack and no longer serve their purpose.
American civil religion really be looking like all other religions.
Rowing machine Chads stay winning.
Or a very committed deep ecologist. I dig their read on philosophy but their views on non-violence are the extremely Nordic flavor of privileged.
Someone tell this to my sociology professor who used sociology as a proxy for market research.
Maybe she’s Canadian and just being polite, you never know with these things.
The horrible sound and video quality kind of helps the vintage look tho.
Yoshi is unnatural because he’s been removed from his ecosystem (yoshi’s island) and forced to perform labor by the Mario Bros. Also he wears boots, wtf.
I don’t know how to feel now because I found this post funny, and I want to affirm my Trans comrades’ gender.
Why are the arms so long!?
If anything, the world from GTA is more grotesque, ugly and crude than what we see in real life. It’s been that way since at least GTA 3. It’s an exaggerated caricature of American culture.
But I guess since not all character models are -bait then gaming experience is ruined.
Private property/capital can be understood as theft because it requires an enclosure of the commons at its root, which is done by force more often than not.
All (good) sci-fi is an exploration of issues that already exist in our world, just with the added distance of future/tech that allows those issues to take an even greater shape.
This whole “uplifting primates” bs is just sci-fi talk for neoliberal development economics, it’s just saying the quiet part out loud, in that people from poor countries are an inherently inferior species.
Maybe i’m being generous, but i felt it was more like “Milosevic is on trial at The Hague, i don’t understand why Kissinger isn’t there, too”
They did, last year.
If you’re into Well There’s Your Problem, their episode on Rhodesia is funny and somewhat informative.
Shinji is a horrible person who ends up totally broken due to his inability to even try and confront any of his demons.
Or he’s a very traumatized child who has been thrust into an extremely unhealthy environment, and manipulated every step of the way, and that eventually breaks him. I’m not saying he’s a great person, but it’s pretty clear that he never stood a chance from the get-go. He still chose to do what he did in that scene, but it’s not done in isolation with everything else he’s been through.
The benzos I take (and the dose i take, too) are pretty boring as well. I just feel a bit more chill and that’s it, helps me sleep by making sure every muscle in my body isn’t tensed like I have to escape my bed at any minute. Couple that with an haloperidol to keep the intrusive thoughts at bay, and I can kind of fall asleep somewhat easily. I still need some noise or soothing podcast to help me fall asleep, but that’s about it.
Maybe i’ll ask my doctor about clonidine, because i’m having a lot of trouble waking up in the mornings, so a different treatment might work.
