My 86-year old mother is house-bound but she is the daughter of two immigrants who came over in the 1910’s, so I guess she’s gonna be shipped off to another country. I have no idea if my brother and I, both in our 50’s would be subjected to deportation considering we haven’t lived with her in over 30 years.

Why would you want it to be? No place should be safe for them. There is scant evidence that pedophiles can change their behavior.

I just hope Peter Singer doesn’t read the book. He makes us meat-eaters guilty enough.

I’m glad I found a way into Lemmy and found this community. I still read through the paperback copy I ordered a couple of years ago. I’m looking forward to the updates.
