Perhaps my understanding of modern-day China is incorrect, which is why I asked because I actually would like to know more. I’m not trying to begin an internet argument, though it’s clear at least a few people find it easier to click down arrow than provide requested information and actually educate fellow human being.

I’m not claiming that manufacturing can’t be owned by the public, but from what I know of the current state of the world, China mass produces basically everything and this forms a not insignificant portion of the world economy; though I have doubts as to whether socialism is truly in place or it’s really just red capitalism, class wars and all. Granted, my knowledge is limited so I’m open to further information on this

I am a big dumb so may have misunderstood but that was my big takeaway from that

I ended up pirating it because the price was just out of the question for me at the time I found out it was released. Which was purely by chance

Overall it was an okay experience but I didn’t like the cast as much as the original, had to download some mods for my first playthrough (not something I usually do) to fix some things I found annoying, and was just kinda bored. If I’d had anything else to do I probably wouldn’t have finished it, and I don’t see myself going back for a second playthrough. Indie games just seem to be doing everything better rn

I hope you can at least see where I’m coming from, in that talking about “if we’re not unified” in a thread very heavily about US politics would inspire a person who is otherwise left-leaning to leave one negative comment about the future of the US as a whole. I meant and continue to mean no offense to you, about whom I know nothing; my aggression was evidently directed elsewhere.

this isn’t really totally relevant anymore because I’m late in replying (as usual) but they were games that I was excited to play as soon as they came out because I knew that I would enjoy them and I knew I didn’t want them to be spoiled for me by the internet, which it’s become very good at doing

…so for me, at the time, they were exclusives, even though they aren’t anymore

it helped that I got p5r and expedition 33 as well, what a beaut of a bonus they were

as a gay male I can at least partially help break the illusion:
