A very normal human. Aroace. She/They pronouns. Hablo Español (mas o menos).
I’d seen stuff about this game for years before finally deciding to play it and boy was I not disappointed. The art for each area is gorgeous, and the character design for ghost and hornet is right up my alley; I adore capes/ponchos and little spooky things that deal massive damage to enemies.
I die often, and probably won’t go for a steel soul run for my own health and sanity though I can see the appeal. The boss fights are unique and interesting, and my only gripe is when they’re too far from a bench. The treck through the soul sanctum was frustrating, and I was seething every time I had to fight my way back to the hive knight. There is a certain euphoria that comes with finally beating them though.
The weaversong/grubsong charm combo has been invaluable for the colosseum. Not every charm seems worth their notch cost, so there are some (quick/deep focus and fury of the fallen) that I hardly ever use. But finding the right combo for my play style and whichever boss I’m facing is fun.
Haven’t finished my first run yet, but am looking forward to what the white palace holds (aside from the freaking saws).
Yeah, omegaverse fanfic is (one reason) why I would probably just burst out laughing if a guy tried to call himself alpha in front of me. I know too much, and and would be too tempted to break their little minds with an impromptu fandom history lecture. It predates destiel.
Oh man, just heard about this in my beekeeping class.
So I set the theme to Papirus, which came pre-installed. Most icons are ok I think, but I am still missing icons in tint2 for Slack, Freetube, and Firetools. I get a generic window icon.
The kitty terminal icon in the tint2 panel is also different from the Papirus theme icon.
Tried uninstalling the icon theme and reinstalling following the instruction on github (installed to root), but no dice.
Unfortunately, setting the launcher icon theme seems to have no effect on the taskbar icons. Thank you though.
I’d turn it inside out and put it on, pinch the sides or back until the waist fits comfortably, then use safety pins to hold it together. It would be best to make this fold along a pre-existing seam.
After that take the pinned skirt, place it flat, and use something (washable marker or a sliver of soap work well) to draw a making line from the top of the waist to the fold. Use the safety pin as a guide for where to put the line.
After that you can just sew a straight stitch along your line all the way from fold to waist. Make sure to use some good sturdy thread. This is easier if you have access to a sewing machine, but if you don’t and need to hand sew it here’s a tutorial I found for a simple straight line.
After that try it on again and if it fits you can cut away the excess fabric. Otherwise, use a small pair of scissors to cut your stitches and redraw your line to be further or closer to the fold depending on the fit.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. A way better method of deflecting attention would have been shojo manga. They would’ve been way more thrown off if he’d pulled out a stack of sailor moon and fruits basket.
If it can’t be uninstalled, try using adb commands from a computer to remove it. I got rid of a bunch of preinstalled stuff on my phone that way.
It’s a good read. The main character is very angry, very assertive, and very crafty. I would gush about the story more, but all the cool stuff is spoilers. If you ever wanted to see a protagonist go “You know what? I’m gonna burn it all down.” then this is the book for you.
Just read Iron Widow by Xiran Jay Zhao. Wonderful subversions of many tropes (the classic ya love triangle for one) and filled with rage. It’s great.
Off the top of my head: team, band, party, cooperative, crew, gang, brother/sisterhood, alliance.
I’m having flashbacks to my theory to computation class. So much latex. So many proofs…
I’ve seen vids of people paragliding over a monster camp and dropping a bunch of them onto the enemies below.
